Cozumel Mexico

This was by far our most favorite port on our tour around the western caribbean. You would think that the Grand Caymans would have won hands down, and it was a beautiful beach, but nothing could compare to the breathtaking views we had on the little island of Cozumel. Our first stop on this island was at a scooter shack. We bargained with the little men there until we got ourselves a great deal on our transportation for the day. My sister Kath opted to ride on the back of her husbands scooter because driving through the Cozumel streets was a little more than crazy. But not me! Jon and I each got our own and the three of us took off on a little highway that wove around the entire island. (A journey that took no more than an hour and a half straight through to complete) We stopped along the way to take in the beautiful scenery of the aqua blue ocean and sparkling white sand. We snorkled at the state park and saw tons of exotic fish bursting with color, and a sea turtle. We had so much fun on our scooter trip we almost missed our boat leaving the dock. Cozumel is where it's at!
