Remember that time we had the most amazing vacation. We drove our little family up to Niagra Falls & crossed the border into Canada just because we could...

You made a wish on the Zoltar machine & it came true...

We took Brenton on the ride of his life... the "Maid of the Mist"...

And he didn't like it...not one bit!

Then remember we drove down from Niagra Falls to Palmyra NY to tour the church history sites.

We saw the building where the Book of Mormon was tediously published...

and the beautiful Sacred Grove

it was so peaceful we didn't want to leave...

we saw where Joseph Smith & his large family lived in a tiny tiny little house..and where he was visited by the Angel Moroni

then where the Smiths spent a few more years before moving to Ohio.

Brenton got a little tired from all the walking and plopped down on the ground to play with his favorite toys...& tried to bring many of them back in the car with him.

We watched the sun set from the top of Hill Comorah & tried to imagine that horrible final battle that took place there...as well as the miracle of recovering the golden plates.

We visited the new beautiful Palmyra Temple...

and then stopped for the most interesting tour and explanation of the Whitmer Farm & all the miracles that happened there. (the greatest being the organization of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints)

After our Church History tour we decided we needed some R&R and we headed to the beach for a day. Oh how we love the beach!

We will definitely "remember that time"...
