Well, we are home and it feels so good. Jon decided to call is quits a bit early and get home to enjoy the last part of a gorgeous Utah summer. The 3 of us road tripped across country. Brenton and I had a bit longer of a trip since we were in Ohio the day before and drove back down to Alabama to meet up with Jon. 35 hours in the car. We survived and Brenton really was a trooper (except for the last day..but who can blame him. Wyoming is quite ugly and boring)
Since we've been home we have doing lots of everything. We have unpacked & organized, re-planted grass in our backyard (hopefully it grows this time!), been to the Utah State fair, said farewell to my brother Steve and his family as they headed off to England for his N.B.A., camped up in American Fork canyon with my brother Dave and his wife Megan, hiked up to some beautiful waterfalls on the Timpanogas trail, and started the never-ending basement project. It's soo close to being done! Life has been busy and great. Mostly we are loving being back!

I heart this picture. (no, not b/c the cows patoot is front & center in the background) Thanks for inviting us Duckworths!

And thanks Annie for this cute pic

not so much loving the slides

We missed you Utah!
