and traveled to Europe. After what happened just before we left I was feeling like I just wanted to forget the trip and stay home by myself. But I knew I would regret not going for the rest of my life. This trip had been planned for months and months and we had been anticipating it for a long time. So I put aside the fact that I would not be pregnant in Paris and went anyway. And it really was just what the doctor ordered. I was able to go and meet up with my brother and his family, who are over in England going to grad school, and my sister from Vegas, and totally forget my pain for a glorious 10 days. We flew into London, (where they live) and then left the next day for 4 days in Paris. Oooolala it was amazing. Paris totally has that WOW factor. Every where you look you are blown away at the beauty. And those stinkin pastries are to die for! We ate them all day! With 5 opinionated adults and 3 small kids I am surprised at how much we saw...we packed it all in and were able to see everything on our list. I loved every minute of it...minus hauling a double stroller with 2 kids on board up and down the metro stairs time after time...ok, so I only had to do it a couple times, but that was enough for me.
The most random event of the trip...I ran into my old friend from BYU, Kathy. Um talk about the biggest coincidence ever!! She and her group were at a pastry shop where Jon and my brother were buying yet another pastry, and Kathy recognized them. Jon brought her over to where I was and my mouth literally dropped open. I mean what are the odds of being at the same pastry shop in all of Paris...simply quite crazy! So good to see you Kathy and meet your James!

The Sainte Chapelle Cathedral..I loved this cathedral because it is pretty much all stained glass windows..I wish the picture picked up all the colors but unfortunately it didn't...but it was unbelievable for sure!

The Louvre was pretty cool but i was definitely more passionate about the Museum do Orsay. It was filled with art from 2 of my fans..Degas and Monet.

Love your pictures. I have been checking my blog all day so I could see them. Kathy called me today to tell me about running into you. So awesome and so very random! You look beautiful. If I ever go to Paris, I will be contacting you first on what I should/should NOT wear. Ha.

Just what the doctor ordered! You look great and I'm sure you had an awesome time. I got to visit these places in 2010 and I have a jumping picture in just about every spot that you have beautiful and normal pictures. What was I thinking? Must have been all the sugar from the pastries.

Lori- So good to see you in Paris! Thanks for the shout out. It looks like we went to all the same amazing places... including the yummy bakery near your hotel. What I would give for a little more of that goodness. I love french croissants and baguettes! Lets bump into each other sometime in Utah...we're in Salt Lake... Maybe this summer when Lindsay comes!
